Attributes are the central to character development and gameplay. Each attribute contributes to a character's abilities and effectiveness in combat. Players distribute points into these attributes as they level up, complete quests, find capsules and so on, shaping their characters according to preferred playstyles or roles.
There are 4 types of attribute points:
-
Distribution
These are points in which you receive by leveling up.
Distribute them as you wish.
The more you distribute, the more earned points it will cost to distribute. -
Alignment
These are points automatically distributed according to your actual vocation.
You receive effective points in specific attributes until level 100. -
Quest
Quests, like Jotun, gives you attributes automatically distributed according to your vocation.
Also, you can find for Capsules, Golden Statues (Jotun) and Stray Faeries (Nightmare Dungeons) over the map, that also gives points automatically distributed according to your vocation (see Quests feature in this page for more information about it). -
Buff/Debuff
Using powers, like with the Bard vocation, you can get a buff or debuff that increases and decreases your attribute points respectively, and always temporarily.
Attribute Bonus
In any monster you kill, you have a small chance to receive a temporary buff on a random attribute.
These are the actual attribute types:
-
Attack
It increases your physical and magic power (damage and healing also). -
Defense
It increases your physical defense. -
Magic Defense
It increases your magic defense. -
Vitality
It increases your health points.
Each 10 points, it increases +1 (up to +10) of health regeneration.
For Knight or Paladin, the alignment points of this attribute are not limited. -
Will Power
For Knight or Paladin, it decreases the cooldown for casting powers.
For other vocations, it increases your mana points.
Each 10 points, it increases +1 (up to +10) of mana regeneration. -
Agility
It increases your attack speed. -
Dodge
It increases your dodge chance. -
Walking
It increases your walking speed. -
Luck
It increases the chance for a critical hit that increases +50% of damage.
It increases the chance for the Survival Effect in which keeps 1 HP when you were supposed to die due a damage, providing you with an opportunity to escape (assassins have already 100% of chance for this effect to happen).
Each vocation have 2 primary attributes, 2 secondary attributes and 1 tertiary attribute.
Once you find a capsule, receive an attribute buff/debuff or anything that increases/decreases your attributes automatically, they are chosen based on primary/secondary/tertiary attributes of your character's vocation.
